About Beaks
BEAKS Molecular Research Laboratory Pvt Ltd runs veterinary diagnostics, airport and wildlife forensics, molecular genetics, food and water testing, and sample logistics from Edapally, Kochi. Training, internships and academic research are offered separately. We work with veterinarians, researchers, breeders, airports, kitchens and conservation professionals.
The laboratory runs DNA sexing, parentage, species identification, pathogen PCR, histopathology, cytology and food and water testing from Edapally, Kochi. Samples can be booked by call or WhatsApp, and courier pickup is available across India.

Where we work
The facility is at Edapally, Kochi, on NH-66, with a working molecular bench, controlled PCR rooms and a reporting desk. Clients send samples from across Kerala and further afield. If you are nearby you can drop a sample at the lab; otherwise courier pickup is available across India.

What we test
Diagnostic work is organised into six service divisions. Training and internships are listed separately. Human DNA tests are facilitated by BEAKS and performed by an associate laboratory.
How a case moves through the lab
You choose a test, or a training or internship programme
Collect the sample using our notes, or book courier pickup across India
The packet is logged and given a certificate number
The laboratory runs the assay and a scientist reviews the result
You print or share the certificate and can track it online
Why clients stay with Beaks
Accuracy matters more than speed, but we still aim for a fast turnaround once a usable sample is on the bench. Methods are kept current, data is handled privately, and someone at the lab will talk you through a difficult collection before you post it.
